Surfrider’s Art Auction Fundraiser
Surfrider Foundation Vancouver is excited to share that we’ll be hosting a virtual art auction fundraiser from April 22nd to 30th. Engaging our powerful and passionate community with initiatives that help protect the oceans is one of our main goals here at Surfrider. And with our in-person beach cleanups and events on hold, we’re excited to bring together our community virtually.
Surfrider’s art auction fundraiser will kick off on Earth Day on April 22nd and run for nine days. This is the perfect way to show your support for your local oceans and coastlines and celebrate Earth Day!
On April 30th, we’ll be ending things off with a virtual gala to connect with the artists in their studios and workspaces (show your support for our oceans and sign up here!). We’re excited to be featuring work from over 20 artists from across Vancouver, the Gulf Islands, and more at Surfrider’s art auction fundraiser to help celebrate and protect our oceans and coastlines.
The auction will help fundraise for Surfrider Vancouver’s clean-up efforts and programs while bringing together our incredible community of artists, activists, community members, and ocean lovers. All proceeds will go towards both the artists involved and Surfrider’s critical work to protect our local coastlines.
The Details
WHO: Surfrider Vancouver Chapter and 20 artists including Sarah Hammond, Desiree Patterson, Stacey Bodnaruk, Robert Charles, and Michael Overbeck
WHEN: Silent Auction April 22nd – April 30th, 2021, and Art Gala April 30th, 6pm PST
WHERE: The Virtual Silent Auction will be hosted virtually, and the Art Gala will be hosted on ZOOM (link to come with tickets!)
Plus, everyone who registers for our art auction on Eventbrite (which is 100% free!) will also be entered in a raffle to win a $25 OCIN gift card.
